Ho scritto un post piccato, ironico, irriverente contro l'allattamento al seno?
Ecco.
Venerdì sera, malessere generalizzato di lieve entità. Penso di aver preso freddo.
Sabato mattina, malesse generalizzato di medio-forte entità. Resisto fino alle 13 quando alla domanda di maritozzo su cosa vorrei fare, gli mollo in braccio il capretto e gli dico che vado a letto perchè non ce la faccio più. Ho male dappertutto, ho i brividi, freddo-freddo-freddo. Dopo aver dormito tre ore, nutro il capretto. Sento dolore al seno e mi accorgo che è leggermente arrossato. Boh… passerà. Alle 21 sento meno freddo del solito: mi misuro la febbre. 38°C. Il seno destro è indubbiamente rosso (perfino maritozzo daltonico lo vede), duro in un punto e dolente. Argh… l'ingorgo mammario… @##@@ e se fosse mastite o ascesso??? La guardia medica mi dice di andare al pronto soccorso ginecologico, previa telefonata per avvisarli. Al telefono, l'infermiera del PS ginecologico mi dice che 38°C non è ancora febbre: si tiri il latte, attacchi il bambino, faccia impacchi caldo-umidi, dreni il più possibile. Ah, e si scordi di dormire tutta la notte: massimo ogni 3-4 ore, deve tirarsi il latte o svegliare suo figlio perchè lo faccia lui al posto suo. Tzè, secondo voi, sveglio lui che dorme pacifico e poi si incavola o faccio da sola?!
Domenica, malessere localizzato al seno di media entità. Dopo aver drenato, impaccato, tirato, la febbre non c'è più. Con il passare delle ore, se ne va il rossore. Il dolore un po' resta.
Tutto questo perché? Perché venerdì non ho allattato dalle 7.30 alle 17.30; perché avevo un esame ed era vietato allattare al seno; perché il capretto si è bevuto un biberon di latte artificiale come ridere, senza lamentarsi del gusto diverso, impiegandoci un decimo del tempo di quello che impiega quando beve da me e dormendo poi pacifico e ghiroso come non mai; perchè forse il reggiseno stringeva proprio lì, in mezzo, in alto; perchè forse sì, ero pure un po' stressata. Insomma, ecco l'ennesima sorpresa dell'allattamento esclusivo al seno: una volta che cominci, non è facile smettere, nè tantomeno prendersi una pausa…
