Sabato sera siamo andati a cena da una nostra collega. Viaggio fino a Monthey, circa 70 km da qui, guidati dalla suadente voce del nostro navigatore. All’ultima svolta ci troviamo di fronte a dei paletti che chiudono la strada. Il moroso a quel punto realizza che effettivamente Nancy mi aveva detto di non girare qui, ma di girare alla prossima. Meglio tardi che mai.
Arriviamo alla meta, una deliziosa casetta stile inglese, con un giardino lussureggiante e le rose in fiore. Con un cocker bianco-grigio-nero: Dallas, fratello di Dinasty. Se avessero avuto una sorella, si sarebbe probabilmente chiamata Beautiful. Con una americana che ci accoglie rumorosa, sorridente e scalza sulla porta di casa e ci impone, indirettamente, di togliere le scarpe. Con una stufa in pietra dell’Ottocento in soggiorno e un clavicembalo, vicino ad un vaso di rose. Con Mozart di sottofondo, prima e i Dire Straits, poi. Con una bottiglia di vino invecchiato e i calici tinitinnanti in un brindisi. Con una tavola bene apparecchiata e accogliente: ma senza bibite. perché l’americano medio non mette in tavola niente da bere, ma si alza e ti riempie il bicchiere quando lo hai svuotato (e sì… è terribilmente scomodo, ma tant’è!). Con un computer in un angolo e un ragazzetto (il figlio tredicenne della collega) intento a giocare… a DOFUS, ovviamente…
Chiaramente, il moroso non ha perso occasione di fiondarsi sul computer e sul ragazzetto. perché un sabato sera senza Dofus, che sabato sera è?
Chiaramente, io non ho perso occasione di fiondarmi sulla bottiglia di vino invecchiato. perché se sabato sera con Dofus deve essere, almeno che io sia ubriaca…
