Morosa: Mia sorella ha detto che lei ha recitato le promesse, ma suo marito non ce l’ha fatta. Meglio che anche noi leggiamo e basta: che non facciamo pasticci.
Moroso: sono d’accordo. Leggiamo.
Il giorno prima del matrimonio.
Moroso: e con le promesse come la mettiamo?
Morosa: tranquillo. Le leggiamo. Io non le ho più ripassate. Leggitele stasera e domani le leggiamo tutti e due e via… sereni.
Il giorno del matrimonio, nel momento delle promesse.
Il moroso posa il libretto della messa, lo chiude platealmente, prende la mano della morosa, la guarda fissa negli occhi e con scioltezza, le dice a memoria Io, Filippo, accolgo te, Chiara…
La morosa, a quel punto, viene colta da 1. un guizzo di stupito stupore (ma… come.. ha posato il libretto.. lo ha chiuso.. non potrà leggere); 2. un’ondata di lacrime di gioia riconoscente (ma… come…. le ha imparate a memoria senza dirmelo… che tenero!); 3. una scarica di terrore (ma… come… non ho ripassato le promesse, non le so a memoria, ecco che faccio la figura della sfigata…); 4. un accesso di divertito furore (ma… come… ahn, vedi il moroso bastardo… mi ha fregata! le ha imparate e non mi ha detto di prepararle!); 5. una risata interiore (tzè, credevi di fregarmi, ma io.. ho gli occhi lunghi e riesco a guardarti negli occhi e al tempo stesso leggere sul libretto che ho posato sul banchetto vicino a te). Io, Chiara, accolgo te, Filippo….
Ora, capite perché se mi chiedono a cosa pensavo nel momento delle promesse, come mi sentivo, quale stupendo moto amoroso mi infiammasse il cuore… io preferisca dire che ero troppo stordita, non ero consapevole di niente, solo tanta emozione???
