Da sempre i miei gatti sono afflitti da una particolare calamità che sembra abbattersi su di loro in modo imprevisto, sempre mutevole, ma indubbiamente drammatico. I miei gatti muoiono sempre troppo giovani. Questo si somma ad una strutturale ridotta stazza, che penso sia in parte dovuta alle cure di Curio, il mio 4 zampe, peloso, canide.
I miei poveri gatti muoiono. Forse perché sono sempre maschi. E si sa che questo fornisce una naturale propensione alla stupidità. Forse perché in quanto maschi non possono sottrarsi alla pulsione primordiale che li manda a caccia di femmine… E le macchine sono impietose.
Beh, due estati fa ha fatto il suo ingresso a casa mia un bel gattino bianco e rosso. Me lo sono fatto portare di nascosto dal moroso. E poi ho convinto i miei che era arrivato da solo a casa mia… un povero gattino abbandonato. L’ho tanto, ma proprio tanto, voluto. Poichè si era in clima Mondiali, mio fratello ha battezzato quello scriccioletto di gatto Toni. E io non mi sono opposta, perché, diciamocelo, Luca Toni è anche un bel figliolo.
Insomma, a parte il primo periodo di incomprensioni con Curio, Toni si è inserito in fretta nella famiglia. E perfino mio papà ne ha imparato il nome e ha cominciato ad apprezzarne lo spirito indomito nella caccia alle arvicole di campo.
Quando sono tornata a casa 15 giorni fa, Toni non era appollaiato sulla schiena di Curio. Questo mi ha subito messo in allarme. La sera i due sono sempre stati inseparabili: non amano la cuccia, ma si scaldano col calore delle loro rispettive pellicce. Ho capito che era successo l’irreparabile quando, entrata trafelata in casa, ho chiesto a mia mamma dov’è Toni??? Lei mi ha squadrato dal basso in alto, con sguardo smarrito e mi ha risposto Toni chi??? Non lo vedeva da così tanto tempo che si era perfino dimenticata di chi stessi parlando…
Questo post lo dedico al mio gattino bianco e rosso. Se esiste un paradiso dei gatti, sicuramente sarà felice insieme a Cipolla, Liuk, Platini, Lucifero, Nuvola, Leo, Arlecchino, ilGattoRossoBastardo, … Un bacio!

ma che tristezza…che succede ai tuoi micini? non è che si perdono tra i campi e non riescono più a trovare la strada del ritorno?

saranno forse insieme a Sibilla, Manolo, King, Conan, Minnini, Pippo, Sam, Mimì e Tigre?Saranno tutti lì a bersi una ciotola di latte insieme e ricorderanno di noi … io li ho sterilizzati tutti e li ho ridotti a dei capponi, meglio che vederli morire o sparire …
